On March 18th, 2020, Malaysia went into a lockdown because of COVID-19. Thousands of Malaysian businesses were ordered to close and we were asked to stay at home.

As an education company with a semi-remote team, we were able to shift our operations online. Unfortunately, there were many business owners who were not ready to shift their business online. They were left with few options to pivot and many got stuck, unsure what to do.

In response, we conducted 4 short training sessions, to help businesses get online. Hundreds of business owners got together on the training to discover ways to transform their business online, adopt digital marketing, and monetize online.

Session #1 – Building Your Landing Page

The first step to getting your business online is to have an online presence. What is your offer?

The reason for building a landing page, instead of a full-blown website are:

  • Speed –Takes you less than 1 hour to build and go to market.
  • Focus – website lacks focus. A landing page guides visitors to take the action you want them to.
  • Cost – It’s cheaper to build a landing page.

Landing pages make so much sense, that in Growth Marketing 360, we first teach students to build a landing page before setting up a website.

Session #2 – Setting up Payment Gateway (with Pricing Strategies)

After setting up your landing page and putting out an offer, it’s time to enable your readers to pay for your products or services.

This is where some new entrepreneurs fail. They start to feel afraid about asking people for money. It is a strange thing, but here are few reasons why some entrepreneurs are afraid of asking for payment:

  • Lack of confidence in providing value.
  • Afraid of rejections.

Thus, many of them begin offering discounts, the moment their customers show any sign of rejection.

The purpose of this training is to help you overcome that fear of asking for money. Go through the training, set up your payment gateway and ask someone to pay you – in exchange for your product or service offer.

Get your first sale, and you will build momentum to get the next.

Session #3 – Setting up Marketing Automation

Profitable businesses usually have systems. They don’t do ‘everything’. They continue to build value by building powerful systems.

The good news is, you probably know a marketing strategy that is already working for you. The next thing to do is to automate the process and build a system, so you can free some time up to explore other things in your business.

Session #4 – Scaling & Increasing Sales with Facebook

Many businesses go to market wrongly, by first running ads.

Remember, to run ads only after you have identified your customers and have built a system to generate and control a stream of prospects.

In this session, you will learn how to scale your business with Facebook Ads – and increase your sales.
